Mr. Roden attended the University of Alabama School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration. Since joining the firm, he has primarily focused on helping his fellow motorcycle rider handling motorcycle injury cases. He has handled over 200 motorcycle injury cases in Alabama, Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle.
While in law school, Matt received Best Papers awards in Business Organizations, Corporate Law: A Merger Transaction, Conflicts of Law, Family Law, and Secured Transactions. Prior to joining Shelby Roden, Matt worked as an investment banker at Founders Advisors, where he advised businesses undergoing M&A transactions or in need of strategic exit planning.
When not in the office, Matt enjoys CrossFit workouts, riding his Ducati motorcycle, watching Alabama football, reading and spending time with his wife and kids.
